The Castello di Pavone hotel is a short drive from Turin and very near Ivrea – site of the famous Battle of Oranges Carnival.

The awe-inspiring inner walls of the castle enclose a medieval hamlet and an 850 AD church. They'd been left to decay for centuries, so the job of restoring everything to its former glory was enormous.

It took over six years of hard work and lots of bureaucratic hurdles to be overcome before this landmark luxury hotel could open, fulfilling the owner's dream of creating a haven that exudes authenticity and faithfully captures the essence of its historical era.
