My Italy Top Tips, Video & Stories Issue March 2023
March 31, 2023

Rome is Italy's number one tourist attraction, and though things like the graffiti really get to me and the crowds and heat of July and August can be overwhelming, I still love Rome. If you've never visited Italy, add Rome to the top of the list.

This month's newsletter is dedicated to Rome; we've got advice on when to visit, a walking tour, and a fabulous shopping experience that will allow you to truly understand the city.

When to Visit Rome?

We are often asked when is the best time to visit Rome. Well, there are a few months that really stand out in terms of the weather, but, if you can't visit during those months we've some important advice for you. You'll find that advice here, under the "When is the best weather in Rome?" header.

Eating, Drinking & Shopping

An espresso at an 18th-century coffee shop frequented by Byron and Keats, lunch in Via Nazionale, the best gelato on earth, and lots and lots of shopping too. Your fabulous day in Rome starts here.

An Early Morning Adventure

This one starts early, at 6 a.m. to be precise, but it is worth it. You may need to fuel up on espresso and a few cornetti (the typical Roman pastry) at one of the several cafes that are open that early. Ok, all set? Let's explore.

As I write this, it is a beautiful sunny day, and the first spring flowers can be seen in the field opposite. The next few months are the loveliest time of the year to visit Italy, so do try to come on overĀ .

Ciao
