Many of you have asked about the safety of traveling to Italy. Rest assured, Italy is generally very safe for tourists. The crime rate is low, and the healthcare system is top-notch. My family and I have always felt secure, whether wandering through bustling cities or quaint villages. In Italy, they have the best neighborhood watch on earth with thousands of volunteers; you'll see two of them in the photo above.
